Basically, there's no absolute price for a breed or for the puppies. It will differ from litter to litter whether the puppies cost more or less. Each puppy from a certain litter costs as much as it's siblings do. Nevertheless it depends on the parents (show points , etc.) and the colours what fee I want to have for my puppies. Yet there are some basic charges for the breeds in order to show how much virtual money they will cost (for those who are registered at the SUKC!)
Those prices seem to be a lot for some. I put very much effort in creating my dogs as realistic as possible, next, I have to show them to gain show points (which is elaborate as well) since I don't want to do mass breeding with any dogs, but with dogs which have proven themselves and therefore fullfill the breed standards. It's also a lot of work to choose the perfect parents, breed them and raise the puppies, including some stud dog fees, creating their coat and body if necessary and taking picutres + creating a litter profile.
